Restylane

Restylane is a non-animal based hyaluronic acid injectable facial filler. Hyaluronic acid is normally present in our skin and its function is to help regulate the moisture and volume of our skin

Restylane is a highly concentrated clear gel from of hyaluronic acid and after its injection, it naturally plumps fine to moderately deep wrinkles and folds and provides a soft lip augmentation.

Commonly treated areas with Restylane include:

• Lip augmentation
• Lip line definition
• Laugh lines (nasolabial folds-see before & after)
• Facial wrinkles (often used in combination with BOTOX® Cosmetic)
• Hollowness under the eyes (tear trough depressions)

The procedure usually takes less than an hour with minimal to no discomfort utilizing a variety of numbing techniques. The product does produce occasional bruising, some temporary swelling, redness, and mild soreness that may persist 24-72 hours after injection.

With a few "tricks of the trade" I can help you minimize this downtime: however, I usually recommend injecting 3-5 days before any major event. Results are immediate and the average time between visits is 4-6 months.
